Calling all macrame lovers.....

When most people thought that macreme was just for making bags or hammocks, two clever Danish men came up with an idea to create some unusual and beautiful jewellery.

They created Shamballa Jewels, a jewellery collection inspired by ancient Indian art.   They used the word Shamballa because it is the name of a mythical sacred place, and is thought to represent karma, tranquility, happiness and inner peace.
Unfortunately, the karma and tranquility comes with a
hefty price tag....

Shamballa bracelets,  hand made with diamonds and 18 carat gold, have turned out to be very popular with the extremely wealthy.  And I mean extremely wealthy - the bracelets have a price tag of between £2000 and £40000.  Shamballa bracelets have been seen on the arms of Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore, Boris Becker, Helena Christensen and Jennifer Aniston.

If you are a rather cautious person, and would prefer not to blow your life savings in one go, you can still get the look for much less.

Opus Jewellery has a small selection of Shamballa bracelets to tempt you.
